Information We Handle
- Account information, such as your Firebase user identifier, sign-in provider, and email address when you sign in.
- Learning information, such as selected spoken/support language, target language, level, scenario progress, XP, W-Coin, completed exercises, scores, and unlock state.
- Premium and rewarded-access information, such as subscription status, purchase verification identifiers, rewarded ad unlock receipts, promo-code redemption records, and audio access records.
- Device and app operation information needed to deliver remote content, audio files, notifications, app security, and support.
- Support messages you send to us by email.
Speech Practice
Wordinarius Echo uses speech recognition so learners can practice speaking. The production learner flow is designed around on-device/platform speech recognition and app-side scoring of the recognized transcript. We do not use regular learner speech practice as a paid cloud-transcription workflow on our servers.
Your device operating system or speech-recognition provider may process speech input according to its own settings and policies.
How We Use Information
- To provide language-learning exercises, progress, feedback, remote content, and audio access.
- To protect paid, rewarded, promotional, and premium features from abuse.
- To verify store subscriptions and rewarded ad unlocks.
- To send local learning reminders when notifications are enabled and permitted by the device.
- To answer support, privacy, or account deletion requests.
- To maintain app security, reliability, and release quality.
Service Providers
We use Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, backend functions, storage, and app infrastructure. We use Google AdMob for rewarded ads and advertising-related measurement. Premium payments are handled by the relevant app store, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the app, verify ads or purchases, provide support, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, or work with service providers that operate the app infrastructure.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep account and learning information while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. You can delete your account from the app profile screen in the release app. If you cannot access the app or the deletion action is not available in your current version, you can request deletion by email at wordinariusapp@gmail.com.
Some records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, purchase verification, or dispute handling.
Security
We use Firebase and Google Cloud security controls, backend-owned entitlement checks, and restricted access boundaries to protect account, progress, premium, rewarded-unlock, and content-delivery data.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new date.
